#Seaside - An image that inspired a poem

Whilst along #Brighton beach a while ago, I caught a family walking on the beach with my phone camera.
It reminded me of trips to seaside as a kid.
The final image inspired a child like poem.

It was fun to write a poem as if I was a child again, nothing complicated just a simple feeling to get across.
Does it remind you of a trip to the seaside?

This is one of my favourit images I have created.
Just picking out enough of the details to set a scene.
For me it has a real feeling of new york...but a very simple image

Again in vector format this can be blown up to any size.

I thought I would share some of my digital artwork
This is a vector image of the #West pier that I created in vector format from when there was some of the great ballroom left.

The great thing about vector images is that they can be blown up to any size you like, so in theory you could have this image to scale :)

A Journey - Brighton to London

My daily commute has become rather robotic, sometimes im not sure if im going to work or coming home, especialy with dark mornings and darker nights.
But the mornings and evenings are getting lighter.
I thought I would use my htc hero's camera to pass the time.
I used and android app called FXcamera to create a retro / cross processed feel.

So its the weekend, i'm looking after my boys and its lunch time.
Always the designer, I cant help myself, I have to make everything look right lol

Stunning pinhole photography

I visited Hoopers Gallery today in Clarkenwell, to catch an exhibition by Gina Glover.
The exhibition is called Liminal World.
It's a collection of work covering 9 years.
Gina uses pinhole photography to capture these soft and somewhat eerie images.

I loved the images, the colours were muted but strong enough to entice you to look further.
As I said before I found some of the images quit eerie, but you cant help looking.
As a collection they are otherworldy and charming.

HTC Hero gets a firmware upgrade (Orange uk)

Im not sure what this firmware update does but these upgrades seem to improve performance and battery life. Saying that neither may be true ;)

I have installed it and all seems well.

As usual back up all apps using your favourite file manager before ( Astro or Es esxplorer)
