Typography Experiment - "if i'm not moving i'm standing still"

"if i'm not moving i'm standing still"

This little sentence popped into my head , and like other sentences, phrases or ideas they hang around for a while but most go away, The more I thought about this one I realised it had many meanings. Moving in terms of exploring ideas or beliefs, moving your body or career and if you don't try to move you are infact standing still. The next step was to put into an image that would explore these meanings.

These are my 1st two.

The black and white version is simple. The statement is black and white until you think about it.

 

The colour version represents thinking about the statement, your thoughts, the colours colide and merge and change.

 

I will continue to look at this statement, and maybe update it again soon.

Ever heard of the SarcMark?

I hadn't until today.
It would seem Us firm SarcMark.inc have created a symbol to show sarcasm. Is this ironic or iconic ?
I love the idea of a new punctuation mark , it is available to buy as a font.
So will it be goodbye :p and to ;) only time will tell.

Will you be using it ?

1st post of the new year : HTC HERO

Well its my 1st post of the new year, I have been so busy and with this freezing weather havnt had a chance to blog. So my 1st post is about my new phone the HTC HERO

I have to say say I love it.....why

1. great screen - easy to use and very responsive
2. The os is very fast 
3. The UI is very intuitive
4. The market place has loads of fun and usefull apps both free and buy

I will compile my top ten killer (free) apps shortly
